Do you struggle with anxiety or depression? Are you trying to cope with family problems or relationship challenges? Has the loss of a loved one left you overwhelmed with grief? Or are you seeking personal understanding and growth?Life can be tough sometimes, with many different challenges, and I understand how difficult that can be.

As a single mother dealing with mental health issues within the family, I have faced trauma and difficult times but, along with a lengthy career as a Human Resources Manager, this has given me a great insight into human nature and behaviour, along with a passion for helping others navigate their own issues on their way to a happier and more fulfilled life.

My counselling philosopy is rooted in creating a safe and nurturing space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences. I strongly believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and I am dedicated to working collaboratively with you to help you navigate life's challenges, overcome emotional obstacles and embrace positive change.

With a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling I bring a blend of professional expertise and personal understanding and empathy to my counselling practice. My training has been centered on the model of Transactional Analysis which provides a framework to help us understand our behaviours and personality, and how that affects our relationships and communication

Particular experience/training in:

  • Bereavement

  • Adolescent mental health issues

  • Weight issues

  • Working with shame

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

I can provide counselling face to face (depending on your location - I am based in Steyning, West Sussex), via Zoom or telephone. My rates are £50 per session or £55 if counselling is provided after 7pm or on a Saturday morning.
